I have set up a LiveJournal account so that I could add some folks as &quot;friends&quot; but I much prefer to use this blogging system which is called WordPress, so I&#039;ve tried to make it so that posts on here automatically get copied to my LiveJournal, and I was just trying it out!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Hope all&#039;s well with the PhD so far—I&#039;ll email soon to see how you&#039;re getting on, and to tell you about the Jersey choir festival I&#039;m going to at the end of this week :)&lt;/p&gt;
