Testing, testing, 1-2-1-2…

I have installed a WordPress plugin to crosspost onto my LJ. For the full experience of pretty fonts and layout I would recommend viewing at blog.michaelbannister.co.uk because I’m not going to spend any time improving the LJ appearance in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, I only write drivel, and that badly, so you may wish to ignore my writings in both places. :)

OK, let me see if that worked…

edit: Right, the post itself works. Comments on LJ don’t appear on WP, which is a shame. Now seeing if edits work.

edit 2: Comments on WP don’t appear on LJ either. Not terribly elegant. Hmmm. I think I’ll make people comment here. Sorry!

  3. Hi Julia! I have set up a LiveJournal account so that I could add some folks as “friends” but I much prefer to use this blogging system which is called WordPress, so I’ve tried to make it so that posts on here automatically get copied to my LiveJournal, and I was just trying it out!

    Hope all’s well with the PhD so far—I’ll email soon to see how you’re getting on, and to tell you about the Jersey choir festival I’m going to at the end of this week :)
