January brings the snow… not.

Well, I’ve been disappointed in the weather. Haven’t had any proper snow here. Yet. February could bring something more substantial, I suppose.

Spent the weekend at Odney, one of JLP’s exciting holiday destinations full of groovy young Partners enjoying the crazy night life. ;-) Well, not quite, but it was a nice venue for the two full-day choir rehearsals which were my reason for attending. Cavendish Singers are preparing Bach’s Mass in B minor for a concert in July! It’s difficult, and though I’m warming to it I’m not sure whether I think it’s as amazing as Manvinder says—it’s kind of a bit same-y. Apparently I’ll have a moment of revelation at some point. Fingers crossed.

Have decided (well, 95% certain) to buy a new Intel iMac (the 20″ model) this weekend. I’ll get an extra 1GB RAM because it’s a sensible thing to do. Shocked by Apple’s price for this: £210! Crucial offer 1GB for 60% of that. I’m glad to see that the included 512MB is no longer soldered in, and I could replace it with another 1GB should I wish to at some later date. Probably not though.

I really ought to think of interesting things to write here; then I might actually feel justified in suggesting to people that they might want to read it. For the moment, though, I can’t see this happening.
