My current task at work is modifying a bunch of old programs to take out some processing that never happens any more. This would be alright but the test packs seem to be in a very haphazard state, and also it takes several minutes (occasionally ~20mins) for old files to be recalled (automatically) from tape drives, so there’s been a lot of sitting around, waiting.

At the end of the day I have my audition for the Cavendish Singers, over at Victoria, after which I have to dash back to Greenford to play the organ for an All Souls’ Day mass. Can’t wait.
